Lumics Introduces New LuOcean Series for Laser Diode Semiconductor Lasers

Lumics Corporation announces the LuOcean family of semiconductor lasers for pumped 铥, erbium, neodymium and ytterbium solid-state lasers and fiber lasers. LuOcean series of semiconductor lasers can output continuous laser or pulsed laser power up to 300W, the output fiber core diameter can be 300μm or 600μm. In addition, it also enables collimated free-space beam output. A key advantage of the LuOcean family of semiconductor lasers is their extremely compact size and weighs only about 400 grams. In one end-pump Nd: YAG laser system configuration, LuOean can be directly connected to the laser head without an optical fiber.铥 or erbium-doped fiber lasers can be designed very compact. The LuOcean Series lasers feature a water-cooled base and are available in thermoelectric cooling (TEC) to ensure precise regulation and stability of output power and output wavelength. LuOcean's output wavelength stability can be maintained at ± 3 nm for each absorber. Lumics currently offers a complete turnkey solution that includes TEC control for prototyping.
